Bruno Pavlovsky, CEO of Chanel, has been re-elected as the head of La Fédération de la haute couture et de la mode for a four-year term. The general assembly, which met on July 17, confirmed Pavlovsky’s position, as well as Pascal Morand as executive president.
The decision comes at a time when the federation is revising its positioning, having recently expanded to include new luxury and fashion brands, such as Alaïa, The Row, Tom Ford, and Zimmermann. This move marks a significant step towards greater inclusivity of international brands and increases the federation’s membership to over 90 members.
The changes in governance also affect other bodies within the Fhcm. The executive committee now includes influential figures in the industry, such as Myriam Serrano for Alaïa, Cédric Charbit for Saint Laurent, and Elsa Lanzo for Rick Owens. Other members include Guillaume de Seynes from Hermès and Sidney Toledano from Givenchy/Lvmh.
The board of directors has also been renewed, with new members including Sarah Benady for Jacquemus and Myriam Serrano for Alaïa. Other confirmed members are Delphine Arnault for Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari for Louis Vuitton, and Delphine Bellini for Schiaparelli.
Pavlovsky, who is also president of Chanel SAS, has been a member of the federation’s executive committee for 14 years. He previously served as president of the Chambre syndicale de la mode féminine, the governing body for women’s fashion in France, from 2014 to 2019.

The federation now has over 90 members, representing a significant increase in its membership base.
For individuals looking to succeed in the fashion industry, having a strong curriculum vitae is essential. It will help them stand out in a competitive job market and increase their chances of success.
The fashion industry is constantly evolving, with new trends and styles emerging all the time. The federation’s commitment to growth and inclusivity will help ensure that the industry remains lively and diverse, with a wide range of brands and products available to consumers.
